Felipe GARCIA - Artist in residence, August, 2017

My production is nourished by the everyday, by what I see on the streets, on a daily basis. The socio-cultural contradictions that mark our routine, being us active and passive agents of both what surrounds us and what determines us as a society.

My work does not pretend to question or endorse who we are as a society, seeks to comment on it, to look at it from different perspectives and, given the case, to translate it into an abstract language as a visual representation.
